I am constantly trying to find ways to empower my students' ability to THINK critically. Critical thinking is vital to being a professional nurse and the foundation to being a great critical thinker is a plethora of experiences and conversations.
Most of my students are higher-ed and struggle with poor study habits. I am a dogmatist when it comes to robust experiences and conversations and I encourage my students to talk to the fellow next to them and inquire about how he/she may think about an idea or situation.
You never know what you will learn.
